Do you want to find out about a secret to help you burn excess body fat? When you take in foods in the correct combination, your body will obtain its ideal weight. Foods could be categorized based on their digestive requirements. When you consume harmonious foods at the same meal, your digestive system can perform its job right. Adopt these tips to have a better digestive tract.

There are 4 distinct groups of food, and every type calls for different conditions for total breakdown of food. You can categorize foods into the following types: protein, sugars, fruits, and non-starchy vegetables. Fish, red meat, dairy, soy, and nuts are the important protein-rich foods. Most people think that breads and baked goods are the only carbs, but pasta, food grains and starchy vegetables are likewise included here. Salad ingredients form the non-starchy veggie category, on top of herbs and a handful of seeds.

Within the fruit group are four sub classes: acidic, sub-acidic, sweet and melons. Sweet fruits include: bananas, figs, dates, prunes, and nearly all dehydrated fruits. Acidic fruits include lemons, oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, and pineapples. The fruits referred to as sub-acidic, such as apples, papayas, kiwis, peaches, and berries have less acid than citrus fruit, which is the reason they are known as sub-acidic. Of course, it’s not hard to guess what to include under melons; watermelon, honeydew melon, muskmelon, and other varieties.

Each and every group of foods is digested by many chemicals in the stomach. On one hand, foods high in protein call for an acidic environment, while on the other, carbs require an alkaline one. Combining the two in one meal produces a tension on the digestion. Digestive problems could be caused by this undesirable habit. This is why a lot of people suffer from reflux, for example, or even irritable bowel syndrome.

To avoid such problems and burn fat effectively, observe these uncomplicated guidelines of proper food mixing at every meal. Try not to mix proteins and carbohydrates at the same time. You may consume proteins or carbohydrates with non-starchy vegetables.

It’s recommended to eat just fruits without any other food. Sub-acid fruits mix well with both sour-tasting or sweet-tasting fruits, if you wish to consume more than one type of fruit in a serving. Melons should not be eaten with any other fruit.

Likewise, consider that the various types of food call for various periods of time to be completely digested. Carbohydrates are digested in 2 hours while proteins need four hours for full digestion. Avoid consuming carbs for four hours after taking in protein, for instance.

Since these guidelines suggest that you stay away from everyday dishes like pizza with cheese, hamburgers, and meat sandwiches, it is a good idea to give yourself a period of time to stick to these new habits. Keep in mind that the effort will be well worth it when you see the many health benefits of proper food combining that include enhanced vigor and increased fat burning that could result to loss of weight.
