If you are one of the unlucky millions of people in the U.S who suffer from anxiety, and you need help finding treatment for anxiety and panic attacks, you would be wise to keep reading this.

I bet you were minding your own business, having fun and enjoying life for a few minutes, and then out of the blue, you were hit with a bout of extreme panic and anxiety that managed to ruin your entire day.

Then suddenly, instead of enjoying 5 minutes of your life you became anxious, to be filled with extreme terror and anxiety that you can not get under control. You begin to shake visibly, sweat and tremble as you wonder how you became so scared for just trying to have some fun in life for once.

For someone like you, who is constantly anxious, these sensations and thoughts begin to feel normal as you continue to wonder if you will always be so anxious and fear-filled.

It’s not like you asked to be so anxious that everything you try to do is somehow ruined by panic attacks. And you certainly never asked to be waiting for another panic attack to return to make sure you were somewhere “safe” either, did you?

Of course you didn’t!

But this is very real for you, and luckily there are some simple, natural panic attack remedies that can make these attacks decrease, or stop them when they do happen. If you’ve seen these methods before but haven’t really tried them out this could be a great day to try them out and give them a chance, because they may work really great for you.

Get some light exercise:

It is no secret that getting some exercise is great for our overall health, but you may not know that some easy, regular exercise can do wonders to help you in the treatment of anxiety and panic attacks.

Even just a tiny bit of walking or jogging can eat through the excess adrenaline that your body has as it constantly prepares for a perceived danger. You can begin to think of your general anxiety as a kind of fuel that your body can use to its advantage.

As well as burning through your body’s unwanted adrenaline, you will gain a lot of benefit from being in great shape from all of the regular exercise. You may hate doing the exercise at first (who doesn’t!) but you will soon find that it works wonders for mind and body health.

Breathing deep calms you down, so try it:

This method is tried and true for many anxiety sufferers, but many do not see how this could possibly work to stop a panic attack or reduce overall anxiety.

So the next time you find yourself feeling super anxious and you feel a panic attack coming on, pay close attention to how you are breathing. You are breathing very shallow, and fast which does not deliver the oxygen that you need to calm down to your body.

With all of the panicking, you may think that you’ll forget to breathe when you have your next panic attack, but trust me…you won’t forget. Breathing is something that we have to do, so why not slow it down a little and you will feel much better. Just slowing down and taking some deep breaths can really reduce the symptoms of a panic attack!

Using simple methods like these ones mentioned for self help for panic attacks can be done without dangerous medication, and you can control your anxiety finally, instead of it controlling you.
