However, did you know that baking soda can be used to treat a bunch of skin conditions like sunburns too? The properties found in baking soda can neutralize the pH balance in your skin. For the most relief, pour a full cup of baking soda into your bath water until it is completely dissolved and then soak in the water for 30 minutes.

You probably already knew that you can treat skin burns using aloe vera. Aloe vera will soothe your skin too and reduce the pain that comes from having burns–no matter how severe. However, did you know that you can use aloe vera to heal canker sores too? The same properties found in aloe vera that help skin burns can help cure your canker sores. Research has found that individuals who treat canker sores with aloe vera heal as much as 50% quicker than those who use ordinary canker sore cures.
