Eat better carbs such as whole grain bread and brown rice Last, you must add fats. Believe it or not, your body requires fats in your diet even when you’re attempting to slim down. Ingest foods containing good fat such as nuts and salmon. And don’t forget to ingest a lot of fresh fruits and veggies as your body needs the vitamins and minerals. 

Make sure you know which foods you should avoid. Evidently, you need to cut down as much junk food as you can and you should eat healthy cuts of meat. Don’t consume processed carbohydrates in bread and pasta products and opt for healthier whole grain alternatives. Stay away from alcohol if you can as it has no advantageous value for weight loss. 

So now you know what you have to consume and what you need to stay away from. Take a look at your typical eating habits and come up with some ways to make your meals healthier. If you’re having trouble with portion size try eating 5 or 6 small meals each day as your tummy will shrink, meaning you will feel fuller more quickly and therefore ingest less food.
